The electorate must have some politicians who they can trust. In the long run it is no use not voting or giving a protest vote to the BNP or Greens or UKIP if you don't agee with their long term aims.
We have only the main steam parties who can get Britain out of the mess we are in.
Gordon Brown and Labour has created an atmosphere in British politics where every politician is a crook. I don't believe this to be true, there are some good MPs in all three main parties who do good work for their constituents. The criticism of these is that not one of the Labour backbenchers have had the guts to speak out until recently.
In my mind Labour has created the economic mess and can not be trusted.
Nick Clegg speaks some sense - but the Lib/Dems want greater integration with Europe.
The Conservatives, in my working life have been the only party to pull Britain through bad times which were created by previous Labour government's policies. David Cameron must be given a chance, Britain must have a fresh start.
A line has to be drawn under this sorry expenses fiasco and a start made by all MP's to owst Gordon Brown and his mate the Speaker and get Britain moving again.
The voters of Britain must be much more vigilant in the future and hold political parties and Governments to account - and that can only happen if the electorate use their vote wisely and vote in greater numbers than has been the case in recent elections. This applies to Local elections as well as General Elections.
To have a vote is a privilege - make good use if it.

Sack the Speaker.
With the petition for Gordon Brown to quit heading for 58,000 signatures it appears that the bandwagon is starting to roll to get rid of this sorry Government.
The speakers disgraceful performance the other day is another sign of the sorry state of the House of Commons.
The country is stagnant with unemployment rising over 2.2 million while the Prime Minister and a large number of MPs from all parties being shown up for their systematic abuse of parliamentry expenses.
It is time to draw a line under the whole sorry mess Gordon Brown and his Government have created and get the country back to work. Gordon Brown - "Safe the World" his policies have brought our country to its knees.
Some Polititians seem to forget they are the servants of the people who elect them, it is not the other way round.

Remembering Margaret Thatcher.
Its thirty years since Margaret Thatcher became Prime Minister in 1979, surprising how Labour and Socialists have managed to rewrite this period in our history.
Over the years Margaret Thatcher has been condemned as some sort of evil being by the left leaning politician who were probably all at university receiving Free education during her time in office.
We don't have to wait thirty years for the verdict on Gordon Browns disasterous years in politics to be judged. Gordon is still there, still hanging on to office while the country moves ever deeper into the mire.

Is Gordon making Britain a Laughing stock?
Gordon Brown's antics of the last few weeks have reduced him in the eyes of the British public to a joke. The economy is descending into terminal decline and he doesn't seem to care. Only He thinks he is the man for the job.
Gordon and his policies got the British economy into the mess and until he departs nothing will change.
A couple of the dozens of the internet sites illustrate the mood of the public.
